CURRICULUM

MRV believes in a curriculum which prospers the MRVians to flourish as responsible and disciplined citizens , conscientious human beings who are generous  and possess respect for woman.

The school follows a curriculum which gives an equal importance to academics ,computer, performing arts,  values, spirit of unity and  fraternity amongst all people.The school is affiliated to CBSE, therefore the syllabus prescribed by CBSE is followed as per CCE(Continuous Comprehensive Evaluation) norms.

In Primary Segment ,the students are engaged in plethora of activities . They enhance their skills through innovative worksheets related to and around the lesson to improve their thinking skills and knowledge. Special emphasis is given on environmental sensitivity , linguistics ,Reading , Speaking , Listening and Writing Skills. The performing arts –dance , music ,drama & the visual arts   help the students to develop Motor Skills , language , Decision Making, Visual Learning , Inventiveness and improved Academic Performance. The students are engaged in teamwork , individual participation ,group discussions to make them prompt, self disciplined ,self reliant and alert .

In Middle and senior segment  , the students are not only engaged with  activities , group discussion ,pen and paper test ,visual and performing arts but are also involved in thinking, social and emotional skills .They are taught to adjure violence & strive towards the excellence in all spheres of individual and collective activity .MRV inculcates the values to uphold and protect the sovereignty ,unity & integrity of India. They are motivated to respect  women, to play  their role to remove practices  derogatory to the dignity of the woman.

The syllabus for the session is pre- planned by the teachers of primary and middle segment. Class XII appears for the Board Examinations.

Each child has its own potential. His way of learning and accepting things   is different from  others. MRV respects every child’s requirement .Teaching through the Smart Boards helps  the teacher and the student to deliver and understand  the concepts visually more clear and comprehensible.

 MRV firmly believes that Non -Academic subjects are a boon to improve the academic performance so non-academic are considered equally important as the academic subjects.

 

INTEGRATED CURRICULUM

The school follows an integrated curriculum that connects different areas  of study by cutting across subject-matter lines and emphasising on unifying  concepts. The students are engaged  in relevant, meaningful activities that can be connected to real life.Through integrated curriculum students learn to manage the things wisely. They improve the way of maintaining and organising the material.They are more engaged in their classrooms and much higher level of the content is set up for the class.The teachers create challenging, fun, meaningful tasks that help students connect to information. Through this curriculum the student tries to see skills multiple times. The Interdisciplinary teaching helps the students to learn from all the disciplines  

AMELIORATIVE PROGRAM

The School follows an ameliorative Program  on regular basis to  eliminate   ‘TUTIONS’ which has become a part of daily routine and lifestyle. MRV is strictly against tuitions .Moreover the school takes the initiative to  provide this program considering that the children come from different family backgrounds with different living standards. There are children who have high learning ability ,can grasp quite fast and learn better but there are children who need a frequent guidance and support too.

OBJECTIVES

To improve the performance in academics, provide assistance ,support and guidance  to the slow learners.
To devote more time and give individual attention to the slow learners of the class.
